Our site employs the latest version of Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL) to encrypt your information and help make sure that only you and Bindertek ever see it. When you visit the Bindertek Store, what information do we gather about you?
The information available to us falls roughly into two categories, information provided explicitly by you and information provided by your computer or internet browser. Our use of this information is described below.

Information provided by you, the visitor:
Generally this involves filling out forms so you can request a catalog or order a Bindertek product. We need your:

• Credit card number (if you place an order)

If you do request a catalog or order from Bindertek you will be put in our database of customers. We do sometimes share names with other companies whose products and services might interest you. If you would not like your name shared with other companies, please call 1-800-456-3453 and one of our Customer Service Representatives will help you. Information provided by your computer or internet browser:
Your internet address (IP address) is used to help identify you and to help us know how information should be routed back to your computer. A Cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computers hard drive. We utilize cookies to track visits to and business at our store, and to process the items in your shopping basket. In all cases, information provided by your browser or computer is used to maintain session contacts with you, and is not used for any other purpose, nor is it shared with others.

Interacting via e-mail with Bindertek:
We read every message that comes to us. We try to respond within 24 hours of its receipt. We do save messages we think might be needed if the customer were to contact us again. We DO NOT sell or give out email addresses to companies. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone or by email, and we will make sure your question or comment gets to the right person.

This site is tested and certified daily to pass the HACKER SAFE Security Scan. To help address concerns about hacker access to confidential data, the "live" HACKER SAFE mark appears only when a web site meets the HACKER SAFE standard.
